FFES Environmental, a 100% Aboriginal-owned company part of the Sucker Creek First Nation of Alberta Canada will support The Hemp Blockchain in its XPRIZE Carbon Removal submission as a partner in the Environmental Justice portion of the $100 million competetion. FFES is part of Treaty 8, the First Nations Tribes of Alberta, Canada and provide resources and land for the creation of sustainable ecological communities centered around hemp production and processing.
By “tokenizing” sequestration information, the company will increase the quantity and quality of carbon credits available for purchase for companies that need to offset their CO2 production to meet their CSR and ESG commitments.
